An English antique carved oak pierced Tracery Head in the flamboyant style, circa 1470. Carved with the usual motifs of leaf and bud spandrels and dividers, Gothic arches with quatrefoils and foliate terminals.Most probably from Suffolk (reference pages 85 to 89 in English Medieval Furniture and Woodwork, Charles Tracey, Victoria and Albert Museum, 1988). Condition - It is in lovely dry untouched condition as per the images. Dimensions : Width 15 1/2" x Drop 9 1/2".
