Here is one of our more unusual finds. The server - 60 wide x 22.5 deep x 76.5 tall.

Carved Italian Oak Server likely made in the 1880s. In very good structural condition. Robert Ley - was a German politician during the Nazi era who headed the German Labour Front from 1933 to 1945. He was a trained chemist.

As he rose in the ranks he became a very wealthy man. He committed suicide while awaiting trial at Nuremberg for war crimes. How it ended up here - In a short summary of the documentation.

In the mists of the closure of the war against hitler. In 1945 the dining set was being offered for sale by the firm Adressen Klatt. Shortly after it came into possession of Oscar Maaser. He brought the entire dining set over to his log cabin in Bear Creek Pennsylvania, where it sat up until 2013. The server was found in the basement of a log cabin in Bear creek, Pennsylvania. The dining room table had full stand Figural men as table legs.

The chairs were equally as carved but had carved swastikas on the backs! The set has since been split up and has gone many different directions.

I have had this piece in storage for the last few years. But is now being offered for sale.

The documentation was mailed to us by the family. It is a English translation of the document. Gives plenty of names and dates in detail of Robert key and the contents of his estate.
